Ian is a leading child care solicitor with a passion for advocating for children’s rights. With a career spanning over 35 years, Ian has developed extensive knowledge and expertise in public law proceedings, adoption, and child protection, Ian has successfully represented a diverse range of clients, including children, parents, and local authorities. The majority of Ian’s work is representing children in court cases in which he receives instructions from CAFCASS Cymru and he deals with cases throughout Wales.

Ian holds the highly respected Children Law accreditation from the Law Society, which acknowledges his dedication and experience in this area of law. Ian is based in our Park Place office.

Ian regularly undertakes sporting challenges for a number of fundraising charities, in particular, the Professional Cricketers’ Trust with whom he cycled from London to Paris over 3 days in October 2023 contributing to the Trust’s aim to raise £50,000 for Mental Health Services with the ride starting on World Mental Health Day.
