Our offices in Newport are only a short distance from the city centre. They are close to St Mark’s Church which has previously been the home church of the Newport High School. We are next to the civic centre which was initially built in the 1930s. However, the building of the offices was put on pause as the war was looming and it was felt that the construction of a clock tower would be a navigational target. The current clock tower was added to the building in the 1960s.
It is rumoured that Rathbone House, which houses our office, was once the home of actor Basil Rathbone. He is best known for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in the 1930s and 1940s.
This office holds the following departments: Residential Conveyancing, Education, Matrimonial and Family Law, Employment, Litigation, Personal Injury and Medical Negligence.
