Meet Rhys Palmer

Rhys joined Robertsons as an Associate Solicitor in May 2023. Rhys specialises in Education Law and is committed to supporting students and parents through difficult times.

Rhys has significant experience in assisting university students across various higher education institutions across England & Wales. Rhys can help university students with a number of issues including:

  • University complaints
  • Academic appeals
  • Plagiarism allegations
  • Disciplinary appeals (non-academic misconduct)
  • Fitness to practise proceedings
  • PhD appeals
  • Complaints to the OIA

Rhys also assists parents and students with school disputes (both public and private schools) including:

  • Formal complaints
  • Permanent exclusion cases
  • School admission appeals
  • GCSE and A-level appeals

Rhys also supports parents with their SEN Tribunal cases including appeals against:

  • A refusal to undertake an Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA)
  • A refusal to issue an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
  • The contents of Sections B, F and/or I of an EHCP
