You are invited to our Landlord Update on 17th October 2022 at Radyr Golf Club, Drysgol Road, Radyr, Cardiff, CF15 8BS.
The free event, organised by Robertsons Solicitors, will aim to educate landlords from across South Wales on the Renting Homes Wales Act and how it will affect Landlords. There will be guest speakers from Rent Smart Wales, Barrister Robert Goodwin (from 9 Park Place) who has been involved in the drafting of the legislation. We shall also cover Power of Attorneys for Business and Inheritance Tax for Landlords. At the end we shall have a Q&A session.
The format will cover the basics of the private rented sector, including information from Rent Smart Wales and an update on the Renting Homes Wales Act which comes into effect on 1st December 2022 and will include the way rental contracts should be provided, the way homes need to be maintained, how tenants and landlords will communicate, taking back possession and changes in the process and procedures.
There will be a chance to do some networking following the talks.
Teas, Coffees and light refreshments will be served.
The Landlord Update will start from 6pm and is due to finish by 7.30pm.
