Conveyancing Legal Assistant (Cardiff Office)

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Post Completion Legal Assistant to join our busy Residential Conveyancing department in our Cardiff Office. As part of this role, you will be responsible for dealing with a variety of matters upon the completion of the conveyancing transaction.

The role

Location: Cardiff

Contract Type: Full-time

Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Start Date: With Immediate Effect

Salary: Dependant on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening of new matters
  • Submitting applications for change of property ownership
  • Reviewing completed registrations
  • Confirming registration with all relevant parties
  • Liaising with conveyancing teams within the firm.
  • Reviewing ongoing caseload
  • Reviewing documents upon registration
  • Dealing with Land Registry enquiries and communicating with a variety of third parties.
  • Preparating AP1s and letters to the clients in respect of registration
  • Submitting documents to lenders and ensuring clients OS1s are up to date

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in post completions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Adept at working in a team-based environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and client management software.
