Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Post Completion Legal Assistant to join our busy Residential Conveyancing department in our Cardiff Office. As part of this role, you will be responsible for dealing with a variety of matters upon the completion of the conveyancing transaction.
The role
Location: Cardiff
Contract Type: Full-time
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: With Immediate Effect
Salary: Dependant on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening of new matters
- Submitting applications for change of property ownership
- Reviewing completed registrations
- Confirming registration with all relevant parties
- Liaising with conveyancing teams within the firm.
- Reviewing ongoing caseload
- Reviewing documents upon registration
- Dealing with Land Registry enquiries and communicating with a variety of third parties.
- Preparating AP1s and letters to the clients in respect of registration
- Submitting documents to lenders and ensuring clients OS1s are up to date
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in post completions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Adept at working in a team-based environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and client management software.
